The fully fitted kitchen is bright and spacious having dining table and chairs and also a small snug. It is well stocked with herbs and spices and condiments. Listen to music on the smart speaker, play games at the dining table or just read in the snug; the kitchen can accommodate everyone. A newly fitted induction hob (not suitable for use by those with heart pacemaker) compliments the electric oven whilst the dishwasher maximises that ‘holiday feeling’. Fully equipped with cooking and baking utensils this really is a home from home.
The ever useful utility room leads off the kitchen and houses a second fridge, a washing machine and a large freezer. Great extra storage area and space for jackets/boots etc.
The extremely comfortable living room has seating for all the family and a smart TV. A great room to relax in. There is also a comfortable double sofa bed.
Downstairs is the newly appointed shower room, with modern fittings, electric shower and heated towel rail, toilet and sink with fitted cupboard space and shaver point. (Please do not take wetsuits/sandy boots etc into the shower. There is an outside hose for this, wetsuits may be hung up in the garage to dry.)
On the upper floor there are two bedrooms, 1 x double and 1 x twin, and a third private sleeping area with Velux window and cabin type single bed. All bedrooms have Velux windows with uninterrupted views of the sea, and all have bedside cabinets and lamps. There is a chest of drawers in both bedrooms and wardrobe space in the twin room. All windows have black out blinds due to the long summer daylight hours on the island.
Safety gates are provided for top and bottom of the stairs. A high chair is also provided.
Outside in the fenced private garden is a picnic table and garden bench. Sun loungers and BBQ can be found in the garage along with 2 body boards and beach/garden games. The garage provides superb storage space for sports equipment. Please be respectful of ‘Nancy’ (my boat!). From the garden listen for the corncrakes (but you need to be quick to see them!)
Please note!
